New comparative report about BIM is now available online

The report BIM AS A DRIVER FOR INNOVATION AND EMPLOYMENT is now available online.

It includes a comparative analysis of the existing professional qualification in the 3 participating
countries (Italy, Finland and Norway), the analysis of the state of the art regarding BIM and its application in the 3 Countries and extensive references on the subject.

The report will be soon available also in Italian, Finnish and Norwegian.

From October 2nd 2017 to October 6th 2017 the University of Stavanger (NO) hosted the second intensive training course of BIM4PLACEMENT project. Participants from Finland, Italy and Norway had the opportunity to learn about best practices in curriculum development and training tools related to BIM.

BIM can be defined as a process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. BIM softwares are used to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain many kinds of buildings and infrastructures.
